Once upon a time, there was not a princess, nor a frog, but a two dimensional figure that took shape of a highly disturbed face. His name was, and still is for that matter, Square. His mother’s name is Rectangle, and his father’s name is Block. His parents named him Square because of the quite unfortunate shape of his mouth, very original.  Square has approximately 2 brothers, but a total of 500 of them make up their entire giant family.
A long time ago, they discovered that all their bodies were made up of were very small, thin eyes, and a mouth. As a result of this discovery, they became very upset and made angry faces. Remember your parents telling you “Don’t make that face, it might get stuck that way.”? Well that’s exactly what happened to all of them. They all live close to home in the small town of Newberg, Oregon. Though they are very close to their family, none of them can talk to each other because they don’t have arms or legs to go walk around and visit. Square’s parents decided to move to Oregon about  6 centuries ago. He’s very old and has experienced many adventures, but his absolute favorite thing to do is drink water. Good thing he’s in Oregon. Gallons and gallons are consumed at every opportunity, flowing into his imaginary stomach.
Square has had the exact same career every since he was born. Living on the ground and having a mouth made of metal makes him the perfect choice to be an expert hider. All his life people have walked all over drains, including Square. Drains do not like to be stepped on and because of this they invented this job. If someone walks on Square, he instantly remembers who they are. Then whenever that same person walks by, trampling over his face again, he turns on the magnetic force of his mouth, stealing small important things that the ignorant person was carrying. Square is quite a natural at being a hider. No one has ever been able to find their stolen items because they don’t see Square hide them in his imaginary stomach. There he secretly keeps everything, and it being an imaginary body part, nothing is ever able to be found. What an awesome job to have!
Like many other things, inanimate or not, Square has a talent. It isn’t complex, nor does it take work to achieve. He was simply born with this hidden talent. Square has never had to breathe in his long life, born without lungs, he adapted and does not require breathing to live. Square is also immune to all poisons in the water he loves to drink, making his favorite activity a piece of cake! His favorite activity isn’t actually eating cake though. Square and his enormous family will always continue to have silly faces,  and pretend to not be alive so they can continue their interestingly unique story. Square is living happily ever after.
The End.
